**The opinions in this are mine. No compensation was made. I just love this wrap**
As I mentioned in my last post about Geeky Babywearing, I was going to write a separate post to talk about my newest wrap by Cari Slings.

I first saw Cari Slings Mithril posted in one of the fan Facebook groups. It was a sneak peek of it to garner hype and excitement. It didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the design!
If your a fan of Lord of the Rings like me, then you’ll know that Mithril is the best armor/chainmail that can be had. It’s mined by the dwarves and basically like a bullet proof vest (but I’d say even better). It saved Frodo in Moria when he should have been a goner.
To name a wrap Mithril was just brilliant! A wrap is kind of like wearing armor to me. It’s a way to protect my baby while keeping her close so I can do other things. The first colorway was natty, meaning it was non-dyed fibers in their natural state (hence where “natty” comes from). I loved the white look of where you couldn’t see the design unless you were up close, almost like secret armor underneath your clothes. The name of this color way is Faana Taule, which means “Great White Tree” in Elvish. This fits the wrap well since it’s white (of course) and the design has the beautiful tree on it.
I stalked their pages online for the stocking date and time. Instead of selling on their website, they were using Etsy because that site could handle the traffic and quick sales that were sure to happen. I set my alarm and made sure I was ready.
Obviously, luck was on my side and I was able to score the size I wanted. It sold out within minutes! I then waited patiently as it was shipped and sent to me.
The day I got the wrap I wasn’t working from home, so I had to wait until I got home to finally get my precious. I opened it and if it’s possible to fall even more in love, then I that’s exactly what happened.
The wrap and bag with it’s inspiration.
The wrap came with a gorgeous matching bag and was already so soft, before washing! I didn’t get to wash until the next day as I had somewhere to go but washing made it even cushier. (*On a side note, you do need to wash the bag, though it does shrink upon washing, much like the wrap does, but that’s because all wraps come in an unwashed state. Washing helps strengthen the wrap and make it the correct size. Never wrap before washing as it can cause threads to slip and hurt the integrity of the wrap).
I ordered a size six and while it does work for front wraps on me, it cuts it close. I got this wrap mostly for back wrapping and having a different size than my size 7 I bought before.
I’ve worn this wrap now a few times out and about and it’s so comfy. Sean has even worn it a few times too. If anyone is looking for a wrap, I highly recommend Cari Slings, and if you can get your hands on a Mithril, then you’ll be satisfied.
